Tim Butler

A visitation will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, located at 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405, on October 1, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life will follow at the same venue starting at 2:00 pm with Bro. Gene Dockery officiating.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Maebell Long Butler; father, James Farris Butler; sisters, Brenda Ray Snow, Janice B. Kuykendall; brothers, WC, Bennie, and Douglas Butler.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Vail Butler; daughter, Renee Butler Norris (Karey), Jennifer Holcomb (Bach), Michelle Elliott (Chris); sister, Frances B. Ferguson; brother, Wayne Lavell Butler; grandchildren, Ashleigh Elliott Lindsey, Taylor Elliott, Cooper Norris, Avery Holcomb, Alex Holcomb; great grandchildren, Waylon Lee Holcomb, Wells Elliott Lindsey.

He enjoyed a long barrel racing career that evolved into trail riding trips. He also enjoyed camping trips with Karen and Joe Hulsey, Lisa and Randy Bales, Sharon and Randy Shanks, and Sherry and Tim Moore. In addition he also enjoyed motorcycle rides with his buddies (of which there are too many to list).

He loved his dog Harley D. and horses Bubba and Twinkles.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Elliott, Chris Elliott, Cooper Norris, Karey Norris, Alex Holcomb, Mike Cork.

Honorary Pallbearers are Motorcycle Friends.
