Virginia loved the outdoors, flowers and wildlife, but most of all she loved her family and the Lord Jesus. She spent her life teaching children the Gospel while tending the nursery and preschool classes at Hopewell Baptist Church. Virginia attended the University of Alabama where she was president of Alpha Phi Sorority. She was also a Graduate of Ramsay High School in Birmingham where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She was a sweet and compassionate person who deeply loved God and people, especially children. She is already greatly missed here on Earth, but is now with her Heavenly Father and those family who have gone on before her.
Pallbearers will be her Son-in-Laws, Brad Layne Hinton of Huntsville, AL and James Peter Scheid of Milton, FL. as well as her many grandsons.
A celebration of life graveside service for Virginia will be held Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park Cemetery, 5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35404.
