Hinton, Walter Jr., 90, a lifelong resident of Tuscaloosa, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Louise and parents, Walter Sr. and Louise O. Hinton. Survivors include two sons, David W. Hinton (Ginger) and Danny C. Hinton (Florinda); grandchildren, Ryan, Wesley, Chad (Lisa), Clay Hinton and Robin Mannor; great-grandchildren, Kaylin, Tucker Hinton, Layken Waldrop, Rex and Aiden McNece.
Family and friends will gather at Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 13th at 10:00 – 10:45 am for visitation. A graveside service with Military Honors will follow at 11:00 am in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park Cemetery.
Walter Jr., served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and saw action in the Pacific. He worked for B.F. Goodrich in Tuscaloosa for over 40 years and was an avid fisherman.
