William Roy Boswell Sr.

MOUNDVILLE – William Roy Boswell, Sr., age 86, passed away November 5, 2021 at his home. Services will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Ryder Sabbagh officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Mr. Bowell was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Onie Boswell; his wife, Alma King Boswell; his son, William Roy Boswell, Jr.; his brother, Willie Gene Boswell; his sisters, Betty Ruth Boswell and Ollie Mae Braddock; and great-grandson, Oden Reed Boswell.

He is survived by his sons, Barry, Bryan, Bruce, and Jeff Boswell; his daughters, Anita Boswell, Angie Taylor (David), and Joy Sabbagh (Rodney); sister, Edna Campbell; grandchildren, Brantly (Michelle), Kyle, Josh (Jessica), Ariel, Kolby, Corey (Stephanie), Victor (Jacob), and Matthew Boswell; Harley, Ryder (Christina), River, and Ryland Sabbagh, and Josh Taylor (Samantha); and great-grandchildren, Jasalyn, Gavin, Aydin, Mason, Gloria, James, Noah, and Lyra.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren and sons-in-law.

Honorary pallbearers are Employees of Phifer Wire, Employees of Encompass Hospice, Employees of Moundville Health and Rehab, Dr. Larry Skelton and staff, Dr. Sunil Chandra, Tommy and Mike Cleary, and friends and neighbors or Moundville Estates.
