Willowdean Smelser, age 92, of Cottondale, Alabama passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025 at her home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Mackey officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Willowdean was preceded in death by her parents, Rozzie and Monroe Sullivan; brother, Doyle Sullivan.
She is survived by her son, Tim Connell (Debbie).
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Debra Davis, Hospice of Alabama, Shirley Wiggins, Michelle Duncan, Paula Bishop, Kristen Ward, Nola Stakem and Sheryl West.
