Esther Geneva Tucker

Twin Falls – Esther Geneva Tucker, 94, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at River Ridge Care Center. Esther was born May 23, 1919 in Seymour, Missouri to Fred and Carrie Cornelison, she was the oldest of 12 siblings.

Esther married Ellis Tucker in Elko, Nevada on July 16, 1940. To this union were born 2 sons, Jack and Dean.

She went to work for Dr. Ronk and Dr. Donnelly at Green Cross Veterinary in Twin Falls from 1953 to 1992. She then finished out her working career with Dr. Connie Ripple at M.V.V.H. from 1992 to 1997 and retired at the age of 75.

Esther enjoyed her family get together, and her grandchildren especially during the holiday get together, she also enjoyed numerous trips to jackpot to “win” at the dollar slot machine.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ellis, 1 grandson, her parents and 2 brothers.

She is survived by sons Jack (Barbara) of Twin Falls and Dean (Judy) of Quartzite, AZ, 7 sisters and 1 brother, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank River Ridge Care Center for the care of our mother the last six months. Also a thank you to Dr. Sarah Marshall, Dr. Crandall Cardiac Care Clinic at St. Luke’s, and Dr. Holman.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park 2296 Kimberly Rd. White Mortuary “Chapel by the Park” is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
