LUCY MARIE BEAN

Lucille “Lucy” Marie (Hartley) Bean, 65, of Kimberly passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016.

Nothing made Lucy happier than being in the company of her family. She was a selfless woman of many skills and talents. She made cooking fabulous food seem effortless and her family and numerous others were recipients of beautiful quilts and other fruits of her labor.

In addition to her work at home, she cooked for roundup crews at the Salmon River Cattle Association, waitressed at the Horseshoe Casino and dealt blackjack at Cactus Pete’s. On September 1, she retired from Working Solutions in Twin Falls where she was able to assist numerous individuals in getting back on their feet and going so far as to helping some with tires, so they could get to work and take care of their families.

She will be missed by many.

Lucy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Doug; her kids and grandkids, Renee (Tim) and Charlie Fisher; Shawn (Jackie) Bean; Dusty (Melissa), Deagan, Emma, Ali and Cole Bean. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters and their families: Peggy Hartley, Jay (Jackie) Hartley, David (Teresa) Hartley, Susie (John) Helm, Warren (Marla) Hartley and Aunt Noran Kell. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Barbara Hartley.

A celebration of Lucy’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at White Mortuary, 136 4th Ave. East, Twin Falls.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kimberly Christian Church or charity of your choice.

Services are under the direction of White Mortuary, Chapel by the Park, Twin Falls.
