

Beatrice Garrison, 92, of Lindale, passed away on September 22, 2014, in Lindale. Mrs. Garrison, a retired Credit Clerk for Retail Merchants, was born on July 24, 1922, in Bethlehem, Texas, to William Carlus and Annie Belle Rea.
Bea graduated from Myrtle Springs High School in 1940. Following high school, she moved to Dallas and worked for Minneapolis Moline. While in Dallas she met, and later married, Lester Edward Garrison. They made their home in Dallas; then moved to Amarillo, then returned to Dallas, where Lester became a minister. They then moved to Jacksonville so that Lester could attend Jacksonville Baptist College. They moved a few more times to follow Lester’s preaching assignments, settling in Tyler in 1968. Lester preceded her in death in 1989.
She is survived by three daughters, Vivian Marie Eastman and her husband, James, of Tyler, Lynda Sue Garrison, of Tyler, Jeanne Medders and her husband, Rick, of Lindale; five grandchildren, Lester Eugene Edwards and his wife, Danita, Michelle Ranee Ratcliffe and her husband, Clinton, Crystal Dawn Edwards, Aaron Medders and his wife, Ashley, Amanda English and her husband, Jarrett. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Abram Medders, Asher Medders, Destiny Edwards, Lawson English and Laura Lynn English. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler; with visitation one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow in Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
