Mr. Fister was born on June 10, 1931 in St Louis, Missouri to Charles Walter and Eva Ennis Fister and passed away on August 3, 2015 in Tyler, formerly of Albuquerque, New Mexico and South Texas then moving to Tyler. He served in the U S Air Force during the Korean war and attended Mary Magdeline Catholic Church.
Survivors include his children; Ronda Kerwin of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Charles E. Fister Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Diana Sanchez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Laurie Geilenfeldt of Albuquerque, New Mexico; stepson, William French of Houston, numerous grandchildren, sister-in-law: Jeanette Fister of South Portland, Maine.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Elaine; brothers, Frank and Ronald; sister, Charlotte and son, Mark Anthony Fister.
