Ed Chapman was born June 7, 1925, in Brownsboro, Texas, to Ruben and Elizabeth Chapman and passed away August 23, 2024, in Tyler.
Formerly of Colleyville, Ed lived in Tyler 33 years. He was a member of Fairwood United Methodist Church and served in the Coast Guard during WWII. Mr. Chapman was previously Plant Manager for Rowe Machinery in Dallas and worked there for 35 years.
Survivors include his children: Gary Chapman and wife Lois of Garland, Nancy Chapman of Dallas and Pat Stovall and husband Charles of Flint; 7 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
Ed was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 70 years Martha Chapman, son Larry Chapman and granddaughter Sarah Fontenot as well as his parents and all 3 siblings.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 am Saturday, August 31, with the service at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.
