Edith M Hall

Edith was born on October 22, 1928 in Jefferson County, Illinois to Waldy F. Wilson and Malissa Liza (Taylor) Wilson. She was raised in Countryside - Waldenville, Illinois and graduated from 8th grade in 1941. Edith married Arlie Leroy Odle in 1946 and the couple had 4 children. She was a homemaker and business owner at Cabana Motel, Carmi, Illinois where the worked for more than 20 years. In her spare time, Edith enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading the Bible, novels, etc. and floral arrangements. Her family and friends will always remember her as a very strong-willed individual who was always inviting an adventure of many types.

Edith is preceded in death by her: mother, Malissa Wilson; father, Waldy Wilson; children's father, Arlie L. Odle; son, Larry R. Odle; late husband, George Hall; six siblings: Virgil Wilson, Veachel Wilson, James Wilson, Ollie Hall, Virgie Byre, Eunice Madson; daughter-in-law, April Owens Odle.

She is survived by three sons: David L. Odle of Chandler, TX, Monty D. Odle (Robert) of Wellston, OK, and Scott G. Odle (Pam) of Rochelle, IL; seven grandchildren: Michelle McGovern (Tod), Crystal Overstreet (Dale), Brian D. Odle, Summer Tillson (Lee), Ashley Bowman (Dylan), Ethan Odle, and Evin Odle; 10 great-grandchildren: Shalan Brase (Derek), Seth McGovern (Sarah), Alyssa Guest (Jefe), Justin Perez, Lainee Overstreet, Mason Padget, Mia Tillson, Dayne Bowman, Hilary Odle, and Esin Odle; great-great grandchildren: Bristal, Brogan, Brielle & Mathis, Braze, Lyla Guest, Maverick McGovern; and many friends.
