Mr. Jackson was born on August 15, 1923 in Manchester to Oda S. and Bertha Grizzle Jackson and passed away on November 8, 2016 in Whitehouse.
He was a Farmer and an auto mechanic.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his son: Gene Jackson of Paris, daughter: Thelma Pierce of Paris, step-children: Faye LaVern Cook of Tyler, Dorothy Rawlinson and husband: Kenneth of Mt Selman, Eddie Shires and wife: Rita of Tyler, numerous Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren and Great-great-grandchildren, brothers: Elton Jackson of Ft. Worth, and Gary(Jack) Jackson of Paris and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, wife: Letha Vesta Jones Jackson, son: James Jackson, step-son: Orville Shires Jr. brothers J.D. and Archie Jackson.
Visitation will be 1hour prior to service.
