Elizabeth Liz Rae Rankin White

Elizabeth Rae White, age 39, of Lindale, passed away at her home on February 16, 2012. She was born on July 17, 1972 to Stanley and Hilda Rozell Rankin, they preceded her in death. Elizabeth graduated from John Tyler High School in 1990 and earned her nursing degree from Tyler Junior College in 2010 with which she worked as a Registered Nurse at the Texas Spine and Joint Hospital. She married Charles White on June 26, 1999. Liz was a loving mother and friend who loved the outdoors and doing anything she could with her children. She also loved cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends. Elizabeth was a loving mother and loyal friend whose memory will not soon be forgotten.

Elizabeth is survived by husband Charles of Allen, TX; son, Jared Carrasco of Tyler; daughter, Alyssia White of Allen; sister, Sherri Guthrie of Jacksonville, TX; brother, Cullen Yaw of Jacksonville; and by lifelong friends, Robin Goode Kerby and Tara Beaird Fleischer.

Liz was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Jack and Marie Rankin.

Services for Liz will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with Jay Lockhart officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Memorial Park with Freddy Carrasco, Michael Gogolin, Bryan Walters, Mitch Walters, Wayne Walters, and David White serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5:00 -7:00 P.M., Monday evening at the funeral home.
