Faye attended Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, Texas, then went on to Lee Junior College. She worked at the telephone company in the business office before transitioning to a career at the bank. Faye's entire world revolved around her son, Noah, also known as 'Mike.' Faye enjoyed traveling, and being around children, but most of all she loved spending precious time with her family, whom she adored.
Faye is survived by her siblings, Melba Arnold, Patsy Denman, Woodrow Carroll, Rita Coe, Vicky Carroll Daniel, and Floyd Bennie Carroll.
Faye is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Garber; son, Noah Michael "Mike" Garber; parents, Walter and Comelia Carroll; oldest brother, Franklin Carroll; and younger brother, Stanley Russell Carroll.
A time of visitation for Faye will be held Friday, March 12, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will occur Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
