Jerry Gene Nash

Funeral Services for Jerry Gene Nash age 78 of Tyler, will be 11:00am Saturday August 27, 2022 with Rev. Craig Nash officiating burial will be in Lindale City Cemetery. Mr. Nash was born on March 18, 1944 in Kilgore to Cecil and Ruby Grace Reed Nash and passed away on August 20, 2022 in Tyler.

He had lived in this area many years. He was a student of Bible Baptist College of Springfield, MO, Jacksonville Theological College and Henderson Theological College and was Ordained Minister of Sand springs Baptist Church in Mineola as well as pastoring several other churches.

Survivors include his son: Steven Nash of Lima, Peru, daughters: Julie Devilbiss and husband; Russell of Tyler and Alison Reifenrath of Deltona, FL, grandchildren: Russell Devilbiss III, Blake Devilbiss and Ashley Devilbiss-Henderson,Marion Reifenrath, Dylan Reifenrath and Sophia Reifenrath. Numerous great-grandchildren, brothers: Clarence Nash, Johnny Nash and Jackie Nash, sister: Dottie Petty, several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Nash was preceded in death by his parents, son: James Nash and great-grandson: William Blake Devilbiss. Visitation will be 10:00am Saturday at the Funeral Home.
