He grew up and attended school in Nebraska. Following school he was drafted into the United States Army. Following his military service he worked in construction then began his truck driving career. He retired in 2000.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister and is survived by his daughter, Staci Langston, and her husband Tony of Rusk; step-children, Lissa Longoria, and her husband, Robert of Garland; Jeff Clayborn, and his wife, Amanda of Garland; and granddaughter, Chelsie Langston of Rusk.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 Highway 64 West, Tyler.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 28, 2015; also at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Pierce Chapel Cemetery, Jacksonville, Texas.
