Jose Manuel Robles was an amazing person who stood out amongst many. Not a day went by where he couldn’t crack a joke or make someone smile. He had a smile and laugh so contagious that the room would light up with his presence. Everyone always enjoyed working with him, as he would always have a story to tell and end with a joke. Jose was the baby from his family and a family oriented man. Every Sunday was “Family Day” and it started with going to Church. He was a generous giving man who would care for his family and friends. Many of his loved ones knew him as the patient and noble one, who always knew what to say when it came to advice. He was a role model for many and had a positive mind for everything.
In his life he had many accomplishments, but overall his greatest were being a father and husband. He enjoyed every step of fatherhood and would go the extra mile to create memories with his kids. On the weekends he would love watching and supporting his oldest son play soccer. Soccer was one of his favorite things in life and he was able to share that love with his oldest son. His favorite Sunday and Weekday activities included supporting his favorite soccer teams, Club America or Mexico, along with his family. Jose was a man of sports and activities. He was an amazing swimmer, who would take his daughter in the afternoons to swimming lessons. She was the apple of his eye and he would dedicate his time to taking her to Father and Daughter school dances or Dodger baseball games. As a man of work, he was always building new things and he had his little helper, his youngest son. He would take his little helper on adventures to the stores, watch movies, and end their day with a trip to the ice cream store.
Most of his greatest adventures began with his high school sweetheart, Alma. He was a romantic who always went the extra mile when it came to the love of his life, even if it was bringing her a Whatchamacallit. He was never afraid to show his love for anyone especially his wife. As a romantic, he would send his wife flowers and take her on spontaneous trips and dates to keep the love alive. He was a smart man who loved to challenge his wife with knowledge and had a young soul who loved to live life to the fullest with his “Babe.”
Jose’s soul continues through his loving wife, Alma Robles; their three children, Jose, Alexandria, and Emmanuel Robles; parents; and siblings. He was a loved man with so much love, laughter, and brilliance and will be extremely missed.
Jose is preceded in death by his older sister, Silva Robles.
