Maria was born in El Salvador to Jose Arturo Cortez and Mariana Berrios. She attended school through 6th grade and loved sewing, cooking, and watching TV. She spent her life cooking for pleasure and as a profession. Maria has many family members that will miss her and cherish her memory.
