

On May 19, 1966 and passed on to Heaven on July 18, 2011 due to a long illness.
Mark was a true outdoorsman. He loved camping, cooking fishing and hunting. His favorite past-time was reading, writing short stories or poetry, being with friends and family. Mark was somewhat of a jokester either by telling stories, jokes or playing tricks on his family and friends. He was truly the laughter of the party. Mark lived life to the fullest, traveled the States working with Brown & Root Construction, drove a truck and was a knife craftsman for a company that sold to Franklin Mint. Mark was a graduate of Whitehouse High school and attended Jacksonville Baptist College and was a member of the JBC Choir and also attended Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas. Mark will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Mark is survived by his parents Tommy and Mary Ann McMichael of Tyler, Texas, Sister Rebecca Rae and husband Carl Joe Netherland of Whitehouse, Texas, Sister Tammy Denise and husband Donny Clark of Arp, Texas, Step-sister Cindy and husband Mike Newland of Jacksonville, Texas, Stepbrothers Donny and Ronny Morris also of Jacksonville, Niece Carly Rae and nephew Conner Jax Netherland of Whitehouse, Texas, niece Jessica Denise and husband Chris Woodall of Broaddus, Texas , nephew Colton Scott Clark of Broaddus, Texas and great niece Cassidy Denise Woodall also of Broaddus, Texas as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
Mark is predeceased by his father Walter V. and stepmother Valeria Nash, Grandparents Alvin P. and Billie Catherine Nash and Uncle Johnny Nash.
Funeral Services will be held at Mt. Selman Baptist Church in Mt. Selman, Texas at 2:00 pm on Thursday July 21, 2011 officiated under the direction of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers are: Colton Scott Clark, Durwood Kizer Jr., Coy Moore, Ted Cannon, T.J. Cannon and Dwain Keltner. Honorary Pallbearers are: Life-Long friends Dan Moreno of Austin, Texas, Jim Potter of Jacksonville and Cousin Shane Lewis of Austin, Texas. Visitation for family and friends will be at Tyler Memorial Funeral home on Wednesday July 20, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Place of internment will be at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
