Michael W. Nicholson, 56, of Lindale, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 in Tyler. Mike was born on March 25, 1957 in Tyler. He grew up and attended school in Tyler. After his completion of school, he worked, then joined the U.S. Army. Following his military service he worked as a mechanic before starting at Tyler Pipe in 1991. After working for 19 years at Tyler Pipe, Mike then became an apprentice electrician for Starkey Electric. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Nicholson and sisters, Sue Maxwell and Mary Williamson. Mike is survived by his wife, Wanda of Lindale; son, James(and his wife, Amanda) Warrington of Lindale; daughter, Chevon (and her husband, Tim) Rutter of Eustace; father, J.T. Nicholson of Tyler; brother, Danny Nicholson of Whitehouse; sisters, Ann Hedman of Tyler, Polly Scott of Lindale and grandchildren, Savannah and Abigail Warrington of Lindale. Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
