Myrtle Davis Clark went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 21st, after a short illness..She was born November 23, 1917 in Grand Saline, Texas to Perry and Minnie Davis. Graduate of Grand Saline High School in 1936.. Resident of Tyler over 66 years and a devout member of East Tyler Baptist Church for over 63 years. She was a gifted seamstress and a stay-at-home mom and housewife.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Melvin Coleman Clark...and six brothers and their wives and one sister and her husband. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Regester and husband Joe...Two grandsons and their wives David and Lisa...and Justin and Jill........ two great-grandsons , Coleman and Seth...and one great-granddaughter, Hope. Many nieces and nephews complete the family tree....her nephews will be her pall-bearers.
Service for Mrs. Clark will be 1:00PM Wednesday at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with Burial in Tyler Memorial Park.
