Nina Lyde

Services for Nina Lyde of Ben Wheeler are scheduled for Monday, January 22, 2018 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home 12053 State Highway 64 W Tyler, Texas. Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm with Rev. Paul Haygood officiating.

Nina was born to Gilford and Rachel Smith Evans on April 6, 1929 in Junction, Texas.

She married Roland Lyde in 1958 in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Nina was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church in Ben Wheeler, Texas.

Nina is survived by her daughter; Martha Good and her husband Robert of Ben Wheeler, 3 grandchildren; Jimmy Coin and his wife Barbara, Jeremy Coin, Jason Coin and his wife Karla; 6 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brother Paul Evans and wife Arlene of Temple, TX; sister Linda Hill and husband Jim of Hobbs, NM.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Roland Lyde; 1 son Paul Lyde; 3 sisters Gracie Evans, Lottie Cabler, Maine Dickens; 3 brothers Stewart Evans, Damon Evans, and David Evans.

Nina retired from Texas Instruments after 30 years she continued working past her 80th birthday as a greeter for Wal-Mart in Canton, Texas.

Nina loved her family, her church, and her garden very deeply.

Pallbearers will be Mason Coin, Preston Coin, Logan Coin, and Dayton Coin.

Interment will be Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Corinth Shiloh Cemetery, Corinth, Texas, under the direction of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.
