Randolph C. Robertson, 97, of Tyler, passed away on Sept. 1, 2013 in Tyler. Mr. Robertson, a retired textile engineer, was born on July 5, 1916 in Enid, Oklahoma to Dennis Robertson and Cora Fortune. He was a U.S. Army Veteran from 1941-1945, during World War II in Normandy, France. Randy received a B.S. Degree in Engineering from Texas Tech University in 1949. Randy is survived by his wife, Nellie; two daughters, Celeste Salas and Julie Thompson, son-in-law Gary Thompson, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, September 8, 2013 at First Christian Church, 4202 S. Broadway Ave., Tyler, TX 75701. Interment will take place in Tyler Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the church. Tyler Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery is entrusted with the arrangements.
