Richard Gary Floyd passed from death unto life on March 22, 2011, in Dallas after a lengthy illness. Born April 8, 1940, in Ennis, he was the son of Richard (Buster) Floyd and Helen Floyd, who preceded him in death. Gary is survived by one daughter, Mary Floyd Wilson of Chapel Hill, N.C.; and two grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Billie Jeane Ferguson of Dallas; three nephews; one niece; cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in the Tyler Memorial Park, located at 12053 Texas Highway 64 W., Tyler, 75704. Keith Ferguson, associate pastor of First Baptist Church in Carrollton, will preside.
