Rodney Tamez

Rodney was born on December 12th, 1965, in Tyler, Tx and was a lifelong resident.

He is survived by his mother Dolores Garza and father Reymundo Tamez

He was loved by many and had many friends. He loved to hunt and spend time with his friends and family. He was a loving father, brother and son. He was a jokester and loved to make people laugh.

Rodney Tamez is preceded in death by sister Vikki Garza, brother Ramiro Garza, niece Jacqueline Vazquez

He was the eldest of seven, a brother, Roen Garza of Kemah, Tx; brother, Miguel Poiré of Tyler; sister, Natalia Gomez of Tyler; brother Christopher Poiré of California, also he was a father of 4 daughters, Kaci Brown of Bullard; Amber Silva of Tyler; Courtney Tamez of Las Vegas, NV, Lacee Tamez of Tyler and stepchildren Jarrod Elliott, and Haley Elliott- Henderson; and nine grandchildren; and had many nephews and nieces.

There will be a viewing/wake on Friday, June 29th from 4-8 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. Please join us in remembering our loving brother Rodney.
