Rose Jane Roberts, 78, of Tyler, passed away on October 20, 2013 in Austin. Mrs. Roberts, a homemaker, was born on October 6, 1935 in Dublin, Ireland. She grew up and attended school in Ireland. Following school, she moved to England and worked as a coil winder. While in England, she met and married Bill Finley. They returned to the states and made their home in Louisiana. Bill preceded her in death in 1975. Following Bill’s passing, she married Marty Mizzell and he preceded her in death in 1987. She then married Paul Roberts in 1988 and they made their home in Tyler. She is survived by her husband Paul of Tyler; sons, Troy Finley of red Springs; David Finley of Tyler; Clifford Finley of Tyler and daughter, Gail Finley of Tyler. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 AM at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
