Thomas O. Jackson, 76, of Noonday, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013 in Tyler. Mr. Jackson was born, raised and lived in Noonday. He worked for Carrier Heating and Air Conditioning for 42 years, retiring in 1999. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Elizabeth “Libby” Jackson on August 9, 2011; brother, Clarence Odell Jackson; sisters, Allene Dunn, Doris Spears and Alma Jane Matlock and is survived by his sons, Thomas O. Jackson, Jr. (and his wife, Anita) of Brownsboro; Tracy O. Jackson of Tyler; three grandchildren, Trace Alan Jackson, Crystal Jackson Gray and Amber Jackson; two great-grandchildren, Peyton James Orr and Jackson DeWayne Gray as well as several nieces and nephews, including, Sue Belle Maxfield. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Noonday Cemetery with visitation one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
