Valley Faye Taylor

Mrs.Taylor was born on August 25, 1923 in Emory to John and Elsie Fuston Chastain and passed away on May 31, 2016 in Whitehouse. Formerly of New Harmony, she had lived in area since 1962 and was a member of the Mt Sylvan Baptist Church and a Nurse for many years.

Survivors include her son: James L Meredith and wife, Melissa of Overton; daughters: Linda Kirkpatrick and husband, Wayne of Hawkins and Bennie Jean Faglie and husband, Andy of Canton; 6 Grandchildren, 12 Great-grandchildren; brothers: George Chastain and Sonny Chastain.

Mrs.Taylor was preceded in death by her parents her first husband of 24 years Bennie Frank Meredith; her second husband of 18 years James Taylor; daughter: Brenda Joyce Meredith; brothers: Orhen Chastain, Buster Chastain and sister: Dorothy Harrell. In Lieu of flowers; Memorials may be made to Grace Hospice 1820 Shiloh Rd Suite 1103, Tyler, TX 75703 , Meals on Wheels 3001 Robertson Rd, Tyler, TX 75701 or Mt Sylvan Baptist Church 13073 Hwy 110 North, Tyler, TX 75704.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Friday, June 3 at the Funeral Home.
