Walter spent most of his free time gardening. He loved to garden and watch what he planted grow. Walter was an avid reader, he always had a book nearby. Action and thriller genres were his favorite. Some would say he had a real thirst for knowledge and gained any information he could. He had a very special place in his heart for his cat "Baby". He loved his family dearly and Walter will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his late wife Jane Bouse and son Michael Bouse and daughter Marie Bouse.
He is survived by his daughter Donna Smith and husband Robert, son Steven Bouse and wife Rosie, grandchildren Andy, Brandon, Eric, Jeffrey and Jessica and all of his great grandchildren and brother Ronald Bouse.
A celebration of life will be held for Walter on April 15, 2025 at 11am at Wellspring Church, located at 16828 FM 2964, Whitehouse, TX 75791. An inurnment will take place at Tyler Memorial Cemetery following the church service.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Wellsprings church and or to Father Gus.
