Wendell Ragland Williams, 69, of Flint, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2013 in Tyler. Mr. Williams, a retired Maintenance Engineer for a tire manufacturing company, was born on May 8, 1944 in Gilmer, Texas. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Williams of Flint; daughter, Wendy Wilkins of Canton; brother, Tony Williams of Jacksonville and grandsons, Trey Whitten of Canton and Austin Whitten of Kilgore. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler; with Reverend James Cheatham officiating. Tyler Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery is entrusted with the arrangements.
