David Hamilton Ludwig

He grew up in Lyme, CT and later moved to Noank, CT. He attended New London High School for three years and graduate from Fitch High School in 1953. He then earned an associate degree from Mitchell College.

David worked at Pfizer for over ten years until he moved to Chicago, Illinois where he worked at American Chain and Cable Company.

He loved to travel. He took a cross country trip in the late 1960’s as well as visiting family all over the country. He loved reading, particularly anything history.

David is survived by a sister, Ellen Brentson, Nephews, Jeffrey Brentson, Steven Brentson, a niece, Denise Brentson, Grand nephews Jacob Brentson, Tyler Perkins, Jackson Brentson, Patrick Brentson and Grand nieces, Shannon Brentson and Paige Perkins.

A funeral service will be held at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 53 Rte 32, Montville, on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 4pm. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
