Uncasville-John Edward Sear III, age 67, of Uncasville, passed away at his home on December 7, 2025. He was born on September 16, 1958 in Millinocket, Maine to John Edward Sears Jr., and the late Anna (DeVoe) Sears.
John was a veteran of the US Navy. He enjoyed spending time in the garden and taking care of his plants. His main love in life were the five kitties he and Jo-lee shared, especially Marshall the Fluffy One.
Besides his loving father, he is survived by a sister Jo-lee Sears of Uncasville, a sister Jennifer Napolitano of Massachusetts, a niece Ashlyn Woodruff and her husband Jeremy of Arizona, a nephew Arther Naplitano III of Newburyport, MA, a grandniece Marley Woodruff of Gilbert, AZ, special cousins Jeff and Nancy Campbell and Craig, Katelyn and Cameron Campbell, Kate Patricia, Mike, Jeff and Sam Delois formerly of Augusta, Maine.
Burial will take place in Millinocket, Maine at the convenience of the family.
