Larry Roy Pearson Sr.

Leaves his wife Linda Putman Pearson of Preston, CT where they made their home, son Larry Pearson of Jewett City and his children Amanda, Kristen, Nicole and Lukas, son Gregory Pearson of Torrington and his sons Kyle and Gregory Jr. , brother Walter Pearson of New London and his family, and brother Fred Pearson of Ledyard and family. He is predeceased by a son Daniel Pearson and Larry’s wife Anne Marie Short.

Larry was in the Army from 1959-1962 serving in the 193 Military Police Company, Fischback, Germany. In 1966 he worked at General Dynamics Electric Boat serving as an apprentice and for Plate Ship Mechanics he graduated to Journeyman in his trade. He was the owner of L&G Properties in Uncasville, CT and owner and President of B-Gon/Karen Pest Control Uncasville, CT. He also worked at L&M Hospital for 24 years as a second job.

After Larry retired, he moved to Punta Gorda, Fl. and would come back to visit friends and family. He loved all sports. He was a fan of the Yankees, Patriots football, UCONN basketball and the Mohegan Sun

In 2014 knowing he was ill, wanted to come home to his beloved Connecticut and to be with family and friends.

Family and friends may visit Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 63 Norwich New London Tpke., Uncasville on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Church, Maple Ave., Uncasville on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience fo the family.
