Uncasville- Satina “Sandy” A. Smith (Aiello), age 84, passed away at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital on June 28, 2010. She was born in Hackensack, NJ on October 1, 1925 to the late Michael and Josephine (Ilardi) Aiello.
She retired from Connecticut College where she was employed as a Dietician.
She is survived by her niece Linda Schmidt, a nephew David Aiello, a niece Sue Hollingsworth, a nephew Jeff Hollingsworth, a niece Melinda Johnson, a great niece Jenna, a great nephew Jordan, a great niece Tiana and a great nephew Nicholas. She also leaves behind the Luty family,and a friend and caretaker Molly Luty.
Family and friends may visit Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, Rt. 32, Montville on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at which time there will be a funeral home service. Burial will immediately follow at Comstock Cemetery in Montville.
