Constance Connie Mae Rizer Swain

Constance M. “Connie” (Rizer) Swain, 70, of Union City, passed away June 18, 2013 at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence in Battle Creek. She was born November 14, 1942 in California to Paul and Betty (Best) Rizer.

In her younger years she loved to go to the beach in California, she also enjoyed cooking. Connie was a former school aide in the Union City Schools. Connie was a huge Tiger baseball fan, she loved to shop for jewelry, purses and she loved to read. She especially loved her grandchildren.

Connie is survived by a daughter; Tammy (Brant) Davis of Union City, two grandchildren; Ciera and Zachary Davis, one brother; Steven Rizer of Camarillo, CA and her special dog; Peanut. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the First Baptist Church of Tekonsha with Pastor Morris Anderson officiating. A luncheon will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
