

Kevin M. Strang, 57, of Union City, passed away at his home Saturday, August 3, 2013. He was born July 30, 1956 in Battle Creek to Carlton E. and Betty Jean (Clark) Strang. He married Ina J. Russell May 30, 1997 in Coldwater. She survives.
Kevin was a 1975 graduate of Tekonsha High School. He was a member of the Local 333 Pipe Fitters for over 30 years. He founded the River Road Buck Hunters Association Club in 1996 that is still going strong. Kevin loved to spend time with family, an amazing host who fed everyone, no one left hungry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, watching Tiger Baseball and races. He was described as a great teacher.
Kevin is survived by his wife Ina, one daughter, Tara (Derek) Coats of Coldwater, 1 son, Derek (Autumn Palik) Strang of Muskegon, three step-sons; Edward G. (Sandra) Arlt of Union City, Brian L. Arlt of Union City, Michael A. (Brittany) Arlt of North Carolina, grandchildren; Collin Torrey, Kennedy Arlt, Kailey Arlt, Alex Arlt, Mother; Betty (Norm) Fisher of Fremont, IN, 2 sisters; Carla (Kevin) Standley and Marla Strang. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother; Shawn Strang.
A private family burial will take place with a family memorial to follow. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Al Provot Food Pantry.
