Antonette Misukonis, 79, of Union, N.J passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 18, 2022 with her children and grandchildren at her side. She was born on May 19, 1943 in the ironbound section of Newark, NJ, to the late Daniel and Mildred Venditti. She married the love of her life, Vincent Misukonis, in 1963 and spent the next 58 years building a wonderful and memorable life with her husband and their children and grandchildren before his death in February 2021. Antonette worked for the State of N.J. For 29 years before retiring in 2007 as a Supervising Investigator. She enjoyed cooking, trips to the Jersey Shore, especially LBI, but most important to her was spending time with her children, grandchildren and family. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind her three children KathyAnn Werner, Mildred Ann Silva (husband Martin) and Daniel Misukonis, as well as, 4 grandchildren, Veronica Werner, Emily Werner, Gabriella Misukonis, and Amanda Silva, two sisters, Carol Kubicka and Deborah Tracy (husband John), as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Vincent Misukonis, her parents Daniel and Mildred (Colandrea) Venditti, a son in law Frederick W. Werner Jr. and her brother in laws Thomas Kubicka and Joseph Misukonis. Relatives and friends are invited to visit the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ on Thursday, September 22 from 4-8pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Spirit Church, Union, NJ on Friday, September 23 at 10:30am followed by a burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Antonette's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
