Bernice Kleissler

Bernice Kleissler passed away peacefully at the age of 82 on Saturday April 21, 2012 at Overlook Hospital. Born in Newark, Bernice was a life-long resident of Union and would frequently summer Point Pleasant, NJ. She was also an active member of the Rosary Society and proud communicant of Holy Spirit Church, Union. She was a homemaker who was devoted to her family.

Bernice was predeceased by her dear husband Edward. She is survived by her loving children Keith and his wife Geraldine, Laura Mae Lawlor and her husband Joseph, Kevin and his wife Elizabeth, and Ellen Ingalls and her husband Edward. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren Abraham Lawlor, Jennifer and Thomas Cosenza, Stephanie and Joseph Libonate, Nathan Lawlor, Sierra and Ryan Bednarcik, Lindsey Ingalls, and Dylan Kleissler, her great-grandchildren Ashton, Cecilia, Christopher, Sophia, Eli and her brother John McGivney.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday April 24 from 4-8 PM to the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave Union. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday April 25 at 10:30 AM at Holy Spirit Church, Union, with interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
