Bonita Piegari Herrmann age 62, of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away Wednesday April 8, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Genevieve Church 200 Monmouth Road, Elizabeth, NJ, on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. The family will receive their friends at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ; on Sunday April 12, 2015 from 2-6 PM. Bonita was a dedicated social worker with Union County Board of Social Services, and prior to that with Family and Children’s Services, both in Elizabeth, NJ. She was a graduate of College Misercordia, and later received her MSW from Kean University of Union, NJ. Beloved mother of Lauren Beth Herrmann. Loving Nonni of Tony Boy, and devoted grandmother of Delilah and Minka. Devoted sister of Sandra and her husband Larry DeGrande and the late Maryann Fela. She is also survived by her loving partner of 32 years Marvin Brainin and his children Ariane, Gregory and his wife Rachel Brainin and her faithful dog Bella.
