Carol Ann Wilk

Carol was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Irvington, Union and Toms River, before moving to Allentown, PA. She was employed at Overlook Hospital in Summit as a Unit Secretary before becoming a Health Care Aid at Keswick Pines Senior Living, Whiting, and Harrogate Senior Living in Lakewood. She earned her degree in education, and was an active sponsor and educator for Alcoholics Anonymous. She enjoyed traveling with friends, spending time with her children, and going to the beach.

Beloved mother of Cathleen Wilk, Richard Wilk, his wife Sally Wilk, and Thomas Wilk, his wife Stacy, and their daughters Baylea and Shailyn. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Alice Schlegel, and her brother, Reverend Bernard Schlegel.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 9th from 4-8 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union NJ. A service will take place at Holy Spirit Church, Union on Friday, July 10th at 10:30 AM, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
