Dorothy Elizabeth Rosenski

ELIZABETH- Dorothy Elizabeth Rosenski (nee Hunter), passed into eternal rest at home on February 27, 2010. She was 86 years old. She was born in Roselle Park to William and Maryellen Hunter (nee Maher) and resided in Elizabeth where she graduated from Sacred Heart High School and the Burroughs/Berkeley School of Business.

Dorothy spent her career as an executive secretary for E.W. Saybolt Company and retired after 15 years from Simmons International Division of the Simmons Company in Piscataway.

She was a communicant of St. Genevieve’s RC Church in Elizabeth.

Mrs. Rosenski was predeceased by her loving husband Leo Rosenski in 1988. She is survived by daughters: Dorothy (David) Veasey, Bernice (Ralph) Rocha, Helen Faber and Deborah Rosenski with whom she resided. She was Grandmother to Jeffrey and Robyn Veasey, Esq., Ralph Rocha, Kelly Light, Rebecca Coyle, Johanna and Brian Faber and Great Grandmother to Sarah and Drew Veasey, Maggie Light, Meghan and Catherine Rocha. Family and Friends are invited 2-4 7-9 PM Thursday to McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ 07083. A funeral liturgy will be held at 10 am at St. Genevieve’s RC Church Elizabeth 200 Monmouth Road. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Memorial contributions are being accepted to the Caring Hospice Services 1090 King Georges Post Road Ste. 703 Edison, NJ 08837 in her memory.
