Filomena A. Caputo-Redeker, 90 passed away on September 26, 2016 at Green Hill Assisted Living in West Orange NJ. Filomena was a long time resident of Union NJ and was also a very involved member of Orchard Park Church in Union. Beloved mother of Peter A. Caputo and wife Csilla, Anthony L. Caputo and wife Angelina and Mark A. Caputo and wife Kim. Loving grandmother of Natalie, Mariel, Jason, Melissa Merrill and husband Josh, Andrea, Toniann, Jaclyn and Maxwell. Adoring great- grandmother of Liam Merrill. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 29th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union NJ 07083. A funeral service will take place on Friday, September 30th at 10 AM at Orchard Park Church, 1264 Victor Ave., Union NJ 07083, with interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Filomena’s memory to the Samaritan's Purse International Relief Fund. Samaritan's Purse is an evangelical Christian humanitarian organization that provides aid to people in physical need as a key part of Christian missionary work.
