Frederick was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Union since 1960. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a past Master of the former Kane Masonic Lodge in East Hanover. He was also a member of Townley Church, Union. Frederick will be remembered for his love of
travel, opera and theatre, fine dining, bingo, and cards.
Beloved husband of the late Joan M. Kuchen. Loving father of Mark Kuchen, and Stephen Kuchen and his wife Adrian. Adoring grandfather of Andrew Kuchen and Heather Coleman and her husband Andrew. He is also survived by his dear friend and caretaker Claudette Berger.
Visitation will take place on Monday, August 18th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union. A service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 19th at 10 AM, with interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
