George Niotis

George was a long-time resident of Roselle Park but was born and grew up in Karpathos Greece. Many remember George from the Midas Touch Diner on Westfield Avenue where he was the owner along with his brother Manny Niotis and cousin Nick Aspromatis.

George came from a family of fishermen and really loved fishing. He enjoyed spending time in his garden, cooking his favorite meals for his family and friends, and entertaining at his home in Roselle Park.

George was predeceased by his loving brother Manny Niotis and his parents, Michael and Kaliope.

George is survived by his loving wife of over 53 years Asimina Niotis; his son Michael Niotis, his wife Georgia Niotis and their son, John Niotis; his daughter Chrisa Rentoulis her husband Dino Rentoulis, and their three children Georgia, Nicholas, and George Rentoulis; his siblings Anna Cassiotis, Vasili Niotis, Koula Kontos and Jimmy Niotis and their families. George is also survived by many of his loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation for George will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083.

The funeral service will occur Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 250 Gallows Hill Road, Westfield, NJ 07090.

Graveside service to follow at Fairview Cemetery, 1100 E. Broad Street, Westfield, NJ 07090.
