Joseph Rossell Jr.

He was born on June 7, 1934 in Newark, NJ to the late Joseph and Josephine (nee Seybuck) Rossell.

Joseph served his country proudly in the US Army.

Joe grew up working in his father's store in Newark. An only child, his personality was larger than life. He loved a good story and was never afraid to share one. He went to Seton Hall College and earned an Engineering Degree. He was in that field until retirement. He loved the Jersey Shore, LBI was his favorite. Spending time with his family was his favorite thing to do.

He is survived by his 3 children Steven Rossell and Daughter-in-law Josephine, Debra Kimmel and Son-in-law George and Barbara Pellow. PPJ (sort for Pop-Pop Joe), as he was affectionally called, also has 3 loving Grandsons Christopher Collins, Brian Collins and Kenny Pellow.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083 on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, 971 Suburban Rd, Union, NJ 07083 on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM followed by an entombment Gate of Heaven Cemetery & Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936.
