Lawrence B. Ray “Larry” age 67, of Springfield, NJ formerly of Union, NJ, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday July 20, 2013. The family will receive their friends at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ, on Wednesday July 24, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Born in Summit, NJ, to the late Andrew and Clarice Field Ray. Larry was employed by International Paint Company in Union, NJ, for 20 years before his retirement. Afterwards he worked with his brother Andy in the family business, the Fin & Feather Pet Shop in Springfield, NJ. Larry served his country proudly as a member of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Kean University in Union, NJ. He is survived by his daughter Robyn and her children his devoted brother’s Andy Ray and his wife Patricia Ray and Albert Ray and Mary Alice Yoham. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
