Marfisa Morabito

Marfisa was born in Gioia Tauro, Reggio Calabria, Italy on June 18, 1937. She came to the United States when she was sixteen years old and first resided in Long Island and then in Elizabeth for many years where she worked as a seamstress. She was a child of God, a daughter of the King and walked with Jesus throughout her entire life.

Marfisa had a heart of gold and was an angel on earth. She showed the love of Jesus to all who surrounded her each and every day. She was a devoted Christian, dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and always reached out to help those in need.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Paolo Morabito, her loving sons Dominick Morabito and Paul Morabito, her loving daughters in law Clelia Morabito and Gina Morabito, her loving grandchildren Marisa (Richard), Rosella (Michael), Carmelo Angelo, Malissa, Arabella, Pauly and Christian, her loving great-grandchildren Marielle, Gabriella, Mirella and Elliana, her loving sister Antonia (Lina) Sinicropi and many nieces and nephews who all loved her so much.

She is predeceased and reunited with her loving son, Carmelo, her parents Carmelo and Rosa Stillitano, her brothers Paul Stillitano and Frank Stillitano, her sisters Domenica Femia, Giovanna Fimmano, Angela Parin and Maria D’Alessandro, her sister in law Josephine Stillitano and her brother in laws.

She has entered heaven’s gates, wrapped in the arms of Jesus.

A visitation will be held on December 26, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at McCracken Funeral Home, located at 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same location, beginning at 1:00 pm.

The committal service will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 220 Mt Olivet Ave, Newark, NJ 07114, on the same day.

Marfisa's memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
