She worked at Burry’s Biscuit Corp, Singer Sewing Co., Wilson Jones Co. and the Elizabeth Public School System in her younger years, but her career was being a Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was most known for being an amazing Mother and Caregiver, she gave selflessly of herself to her family.
Wife to the late Emiliano H. Estrada, she is survived by her 4 older siblings, Gisela Fernandez, Consuelo Oti, Jose Antonio Gil and Silvia Fornet, her 3 children Emil, Erik and Elke, and her 5 Grandchildren Elle Marie, Edge Kyle, Emil, Erin Lynn and Emir Adam.
Her presence is already greatly missed.

A graveside service for Maria will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 220 Mount Olivet Avenue, Newark, NJ 07114.
