Marion A. Gross

Marion A. Gross, 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 22, 2012 in New Brunswick, NJ. Born in Newark, Marion was a life-long resident of Union where she was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Union, serving as a Sunday school teacher for more than 50 years.

Marion was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph. She is survived by her loving children Marion Mayer and her husband Gary, Edward, and Paul and his wife Beryl. She is also survived by her grandchildren Brian Mayer and his wife Sue, Karen Umbach and her husband Kevin, Lee, Hana, Autumn, and Jasmine, as well as her great-grandchildren Christian and Colleen Mayer, and Garrett and Regan Umbach.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 26 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave Union NJ. Funeral Service will be held at the United Methodist Church, Union on Thursday December 27 at 10AM with interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marion’s name may be made to the United Methodist Church 2095 Berwyn Street Union, NJ 07083.
