Mary G. Corrigan

Mary G. Corrigan, 97, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2013 in Westfield, NJ, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, Mary resided in Union for the past 50 years, before moving to Westfield for the last 2 years. She was a communicant of Holy Spirit Church in Union, where she was a member of the Rosary Society, the 60-plus Club, and a worker at bingo. She also belonged to the Mah-Jong Club.

Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank. She is survived by her loving children Eileen Glassen and Frank D. Corrigan and his wife Helen, as well as her sister Emily Mikos and brother Henry Klima. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Norman Schroeder and his wife Maureen, Colleen Johnson and her husband Brian, and Kelly Glover her husband Ken, as well as her great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Johnson, Douglas Johnson, Meghan Glover, Alexandra Schroeder, and Katarina Schroeder.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 4-8 PM at the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave. Union, NJ. Funeral mass will be offered on Saturday, December 28 at 9:30AM at Holy Spirit Church, Union, with interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s name to the St. Jude Children Hospital.
